Due to the ever-growing Fun-N-suN camping family, time came for Fun-N-suN to expand its dealership base so they could take care of their customers better. In the spring of 2003, Fun-N-suN rented the old K-mart parking lot just west of the Old 31 and US 10 junction, east of Ludington, and set up shop. They used a travel trailer as a sales office. Founder, Gay Grossenbacher and brother Dennis started peddling trailers there on the weekends, low and behold, it took off. They knew the concept would work. Not only were they able to take care of the past Fun-N-suN RV'ers, but they were bringing new RV'ers into the Fun-N-suN family as well. The following year, Fun-N-suN bought a building east of the parking lot, toward the city of Scottville, just north of US 10, by Dennis Road. Don Shanty who worked in the service department at Coopersville, volunteered to go up north, and started converting the old building into a state of the art service center. When it was finished they moved the whole opperation including sales to that location. Fun-N-suN also had the idea of incorporating a mobile service truck to take care of the needs of the seasonal camper, who has no way of bringing their trailer in for service. The idea worked great. Greg Grossenbacher, along with Dennis, helped Fun-N-suN founder Gay Grossenbacher keep the family business growing. Greg spent eight years in RV service, and been in RV sales for the last 18 years.
